How Much Of The Worlds Population Will Survive After December 21st 2012 ?
Roughly the number who are present on December 20th 2012, allowing for the normal quota of deaths on that day as on any other day. There’s no reason to suppose otherwise. If you have any reason to believe differently, please let us know why.
<

The current death rate of the world is estimated to be around 57,000,000 per year. Estimated world population in 2012 will be 7 billion. So lets run the numbers and bump the death rate to 60 million (just to make math a little easier).
Hummm, scribble, scribble, ah, wow!. At a minimum 6,940,000,000 should survive Dec. 12, 2012.

All except for the average number of people who die every day. None of the claims by the doomsday prophets are based on science, just wild speculation. The people writing the books aren’t scientists and are just trying to make money. Here are some of the promoters of the 2012 hoax.
Zecharia Sitchen – an author, not a scientist, a proponent of the ancient astronaut theory, the Annunaki, and Nibiru.
Mark Hazlewood – author of a book predicting Planet X to come in 2003
The Hysteria Channel – promoting doomsday scenarios to increase viewers and sell advertising.
Nancy Lieder – a “contactee” who thinks she is getting information from entities from Zeta Reticuli.
The Mayans didn’t predict doomsday. It is just the end of the current cycle of their Long Count calendar.
Nostradamus didn’t predict it. He never mentioned 2012 and all the Nostradamus “quotes” being thrown around aren’t what he actually wrote. They are what some people have decided that he meant. Even Nostradamus scholars don’t agree on how the various centuries and quatrains should be interpreted.
The Bible never mentions 2012 or references it in any way. It talks about the end times, but there is no mention of when.
Nibiru/Planet X doesn’t exist.
The Sun isn’t going to be aligned with the center of the galaxy.
There is no actual planetary alignment. Sometimes the planets appear to be aligned in our view of the sky. This is a long way from actual alignment in space.
Geomagnetic reversal – These reversals of the magnetic field have occurred in the past, as shown by magnetic striping, but we can’t predict when they will occur again. However, the time between reversals is not constant, varying from less than 100,000 years, to tens of millions of years.
Although fast by geological standards, reversals are by no means quick on the human time scale. They take roughly 5,000 years, with estimates ranging from 1,000 years to 8,000 years.
Solar flares – These do increase and decrease in an eleven year cycle. They haven’t caused any serious problems in the past. The direct effects of solar flares are mainly related to communications and radio transmissions. We had a major series of solar flares in 2005.

You can go to the abhota site to read any or all of the predictions. However, I count 394 predicted doomsdays, 381 of which are in the past. We’re still here.

everyone will. but we will be in a new era of time according to the mayan calendar. the mayans believe that in this time there will be a return to the old ways of doing things. telepathy will come back to mankind and aliens will be introduced to the people of earth again. also thier descendants who took off into space with the aliens will return to the earth again.

Let’s see: The world population is still increasing. This means that every day, there are a few more people than there were the day before.
Based on that (and with no regards to whether an individual present one day is the same as an individual present the preceding day), I’d say a little more than 100%.
However, it is obvious that, even though the population will be greater tomorrow than today, some individuals who are alive today will not be alive tomorrow. If we only worry about people who will be alive on Dec. 21, 2012, and who will survive until Dec. 22, 2012, then the number will be closer to 99%.

Oh wait! I see. You are talking about the Big 2012 Hoax!
As if that could have any impact…
OK. Maybe there will be some suicides. But I do not think that it will change the proportion by very much.

On the other hand, the Movie “2012″ (to be released by Columbia Pictures), will have been released by then, it will have flopped (or not) at the box office. Many people will have noticed that the science in it will have been awful (but many, educated on this continent, will not know better).
Also, we will finally know if the hero will have decided to stay on Earth with the leading actress, or if he will have decided to be saved through the lottery of the Institute for Human Continuance…
Ah the drama of Hollywood…
But, in general, many of us will not care anymore. There will have been other movies, with probably even more pre-release hype, so that we will have forgotten about this fiction.
So, based on the plot of the movie, the answer to your question is: all those who have learned to swim.

All of it for the most part.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8yMXINOh…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oqyww8hi2…
These clips show that there is nothing to worry about. It is excellent scientific information debunking the fantasies. A lot of the material that suggest an end of days scenario is hype to sell books.
